Andi Karaboutis is Executive Vice President Technology & Business Solutions at Biogen, Cambridge, MA. Accountable for technologies that provide insights for drug discovery and patient benefit.

A former VP & Global CIO, and Technology leader with an extensive business background in high tech (Dell), and supply chain and lean manufacturing (General Motors & Ford). I've been at the forefront of IT/business integration over the past 20 years by leading the consolidation and alignment of manufacturing and IT processes and strategies to create a superior customer experience.

At Dell, in an environment of strategic acceleration and constant reinvention, I've led successful integration of new lines of business, built platforms to provide expanded capabilities, and facilitated cultural adaptation of global organizations created through growth encompassing more than 19 corporate acquisitions during my tenure.

Having led Dell through several company-defining organizational initiatives, I've developed a leadership style characterized by resilience and an empowering communications strategy with a big-picture global perspective, exercising keen insight and decision-making to drive tactical execution. With a diligent focus on bottom-line cost drivers, I've met rigorous corporate objectives that ensured continued growth during a period of major reinvention and were key to Dell's transformation from a hardware-centric organization to a leading end-to-end solutions provider.
