Chris Satchell Biography

Chris Satchell serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer for Comcast Cable. In this role, Chris leads Comcast’s product, design and innovation teams in Philadelphia, Denver and Silicon Valley to develop and design the company’s consumer products that are enjoyed by millions of people every day.

Chris joined Comcast in 2015 from Nike, where he served as Consumer Technology Officer and was responsible for the strategy and execution related to all consumer-focused technology products and services. He led the Consumer Digital Technology team of 1,600 employees, which designed, built and operated consumer apps, Nike.com, e/mCommerce, brick-and-mortar retail solutions, digital brand experiences and activations globally.

Prior to Nike, Chris was Chief Technology Officer and EVP of R&D at IGT (International Game Technology), the world leader in gaming entertainment and casino systems. Before IGT, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business, and was responsible for product and technical development across multiple areas of the games business, including Xbox, Games for Windows, Xbox Live and Microsoft Game Studios. While at Microsoft, Chris also held many other roles, including General Manager and Chief Software Architect for Microsoft XNA, the business responsible for developing tools and platforms that facilitate video game development and management.

Chris received a BSc in Computing from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
