Gwen Becknell Biography

Gwen is Senior Director of End-User Experience Services within Infrastructure Services at HP, Inc. Her team is responsible for the IT employee experience for 70K HP employees worldwide. Ensuring employees have the productivity tools and processes they need to do their job anytime, anywhere and anyplace. This includes such services as PC Lifecycle, O365 (including Skype for Business), Remote access, Printing, Mobility, Video Conferencing and IT Support. All this, while ensuring IT showcases HP products and services as our own key reference account.

Gwen's 20-year career at HP has included roles within procurement, supply chain, marketing and now IT for past 10 years. She has led both indirect and direct teams, as well as worked cross BUs and region to deliver key projects and savings for HP. After moving to HP IT she was instrumental in delivering the PC Lifecycle program for HP, this new refresh program reduced overall IT PC spend by $26.2M in the first year (24% reduction). Prior to HP, Gwen worked in both the Defense and Biotech industries.

Gwen has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an MIS focus from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the University of San Diego. She just recently completed her Executive Coaching Certification through the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara. She is APICS Certified, ITIL certified, a Lean Six Sigma Executive Belt and a Scrum Master as well as a member of the San Diego Professional Coaching Alliance, WITI, Toastmasters and the National Association of Professional Women. Gwen resides in San Diego, CA with her husband and three daughters.
