Jeff Gilchrist Biography
As the Avanade lead for the Canadian business, Jeff is responsible for guiding the sales, delivery and operations of all Avanade’s work in Canada. Jeff works closely with his regional leadership teams to ensure high quality customer service to an expanding customer base. Jeff joined Avanade in November 2014 after more than 11 years with IBM Canada’s Global Business Services unit. Most recently, he was the executive responsible for the Communications Sector, where he was responsible for developing and managing the sector strategy, sales, revenue and practice, and for leading a 500-plus team. Earlier at IBM Canada, Jeff served as senior business operations executive. Prior to joining IBM in 2003, he was a partner at Deloitte Consulting, where he was responsible for the management of the Bell Canada account. Overall, Jeff has more than 30 years of experience with a proven track record as a business leader/developer, general manager, practice management and project execution.
He holds both a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree and an Honors Business Administration (HBA) undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario.
