Michael Bullock Biography

In his role as Vice President of Information Technology for Texas Rangers Baseball, Michael is responsible for a broad spectrum of technology from Core Systems and Infrastructure to Cloud Technologies and Business Systems. He passionately believes in the responsibility of I.T. to deliver business solutions and to have a meaningful impact for the business and for our patrons. Michael and his technology team are currently working to deliver outstanding technology at several major Texas Rangers projects including a player development facility in Dominican Republic, Rangers Village at the Rangers Spring Training facility in Surprise Arizona and for construction of the new Rangers Stadium home, Globe Life Field.

Prior to his current role with the Texas Rangers, Michael enjoyed 6 successful years in providing consulting and project management services to the Telecommunication industry as founder and President of Evolution|I|T|. Michael served in both technical and leadership roles earlier in his career with Texas Instruments, Burlington Northern Railroad and Bell Helicopter Textron.

Michael earned Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1985 and has more than 30 years’ experience in the Technology field. Other distinctions and responsibilities include service as a founding member of the Major League Baseball IT Steering Committee, Governing Body member of the Evanta Dallas CIO Summit, and member of the Advisory Board for the Southern Methodist University MSBA (Master of Science-Business Analytics) Program.
