Michael Shea, Morgan Lewis

Michael Shea leads a dynamic team that provides technology services to Morgan Lewis staff and clients around the world. Michael joined Morgan Lewis in 2014 and brings with him experience as a CIO who manages large, global teams; leads entrepreneurial ventures; and has professional service experience working with Fortune 1000 management teams on innovation programs.

Before joining Morgan Lewis, Michael founded a mobile professional services company that provided a market-leading set of strategy, design, and development services for Fortune 1000 companies. After quickly gaining market traction, this company was later acquired by the market leader in this space. Prior to this, Michael was the CIO of International SOS, the largest medical security assistance company in the world. Michael spent the majority of his tenure with International SOS living in Singapore and working throughout Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Before his tenure at International SOS, Michael was the VP of Business Intelligence and eBusiness at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the largest hotel company in the world. While at IHG, he worked with a team to establish IHG’s e-Commerce sales channel, managed business intelligence, and had responsibility for a large portion of the overall systems portfolio. He has also worked at large insurance and consulting companies.
