Shawn Price, SuccessFactors

Shawn Price is the president of SuccessFactors. He is responsible for the end-to-end business of the People (HCM) pillar for SAP Cloud globally. This includes everything from strategy and operations to M&A and P/L. He reports to the SAP Board through Bob Calderoni.

Shawn is a proven leader in building and transforming cloud companies at scale on a global basis. His 20+ years of experience include leading several companies from founding to successful IPO. Most recently he was the president of SuccessFactors Cloud; his responsibilities expanded to manage all of the SAP Cloud portfolio, reporting to the SAP Board of Directors.

Shawn is a charter member of the C100, a Silicon Valley nonprofit organization for Canadian entrepreneurs. He speaks at various industry events on monetization and growth strategies, end-to-end cloud transformation, mergers and acquisition strategies, and venture capital.



Shawn’s fierce will to win has brought him notoriety for winning the 2005 Rolex 24-Hours at Daytona International Sports Car Race; being the Americas Top Rider in the world-famous Paris-Dakar Rally, completing 7,000 miles across the desert on a motorcycle; and as the 2002 Class winner in the Baja 1000. Today his focus on racing involves fast boats.
