Swami Vaidyanathan

Enterprise Transformation leader

Swami Vaidyanathan Biography

Swami Vaidyanathan brings more than 25 years of technology leadership across banking, payments, and financial services. He has directed enterprise transformations, platform modernization, and AI/ML programs at Fortune 500 institutions, including Wells Fargo, Amazon, and ACI Worldwide.

His experience spans engineering leadership, enterprise architecture, payment systems, risk platforms, and AI/ML-enabled solutions. Having led complex transformation programs from strategy through execution, he brings a practitioner's perspective on how enterprise initiatives succeed, where they encounter friction, and what it takes to scale them successfully.

His recent work focuses on enterprise AI transformation and strategy. Rather than examining individual technologies or models in isolation, he synthesizes insights from CXOTalk conversations with CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, Chief AI Officers, and other industry leaders to identify recurring patterns across organizations. His writing combines these practitioner perspectives with his own experience to develop practical frameworks for scaling AI beyond successful pilots.

Swami holds an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India.
