Michael Wolf, MTV Networks

Michael Wolf is Co-Founder & CEO of Activate Consulting, the leading strategy and technology consulting firm to technology, internet, media, and entertainment companies.

Activate’s work focuses on helping industry leaders and tech innovators drive growth through new corporate and business strategies, customer acquisition, pricing, marketing and creating new companies as internal startups. The firm’s clients span the range of businesses in the entire ecosystem, including e-commerce, MVPDs, television, music, video games, digital publishing, filmed entertainment, sports, e-commerce, telephony, news and apps.

Previously, Michael was President & COO of MTV Networks, a $7Bn global television and digital media company. He joined MTVN from McKinsey & Co, where he was global managing partner of the firm’s Media, Entertainment & Internet practice. Before then, Michael led the Communications, Media and Technology group at Booz Allen Hamilton. He previously served on the boards of Sotheby’s, Yahoo!, Entercom and privately held tech innovators. Michael is a graduate of Columbia University and lives in New York City.
