She was named Editor in Chief of CIO and its events division in January 2009. This unique dual role combines strategic direction of the magazine with agenda development, speaker recruitment and conference moderating duties for the CIO 100 Symposium and 9 regional CIO Perspectives events. In her 25 years’ experience covering IT leadership and business technology trends, Johnson has developed an extensive network of CIO contacts built during previous leadership positions as Editor in Chief of IDG's Computerworld and Founding Editor of CIO Decisions magazine.
